The AIM Platform’s Governing Committee has overall responsibility for the approval of the AIM Platform Standards and Guidance
The AIM Platform’s Governing Committee (GC) is the key decision-making body for the AIM Platform, comprising of independent members selected for their expertise in relevant fields. The GC members offer well-rounded representation from civil society, standard-setting bodies, and the private sector, covering a wide range of sectors and mitigation strategies.
The GC’s primary responsibility is to oversee and approve the final versions of the AIM Platform’s Standards and Guidance. This includes reviewing and validating drafts produced by the AIM Platform Secretariat and incorporating input from the AIM Platform stakeholders and experts, ensuring all outputs are rigorous, comprehensive, and aligned with the AIM Platform’s Guiding Principles.
