Governing Committee Members
The AIM Platform’s Governing Committee holds overall responsibility for approving the AIM Platform Standards and Guidance.
The AIM Platform’s Governing Committee is the decision-making body responsible for overseeing and approving all AIM Platform publications and outputs. Composed of up to 15 independent members, the Governing Committee is carefully structured to ensure balanced representation and subject-matter expertise across sectors.
Members are invited based on their expertise in relevant fields and are drawn from three groups: (1) environmental non-profits, (2) standard-setting bodies and academia, and (3) private sector experts.
The Governing Committee reviews and approves final Standards and Guidance, evaluates drafts developed by the AIM Platform Secretariat, and incorporates feedback from stakeholders and experts. It also appoints new members, ensuring that all outputs are rigorous, inclusive, and aligned with the AIM Platform’s Guiding Principles.
