As companies take on increasingly ambitious Scope 3 targets, many are searching for credible, practical ways to assess quality, account for, and report on interventions leading to emissions reductions across their value chains.
To address this gap, the Advanced and Indirect Mitigation (AIM) Platform has released a draft Intervention Quality, Accounting, and Reporting (QAR) Standard and Guidance, now being piloted by more than 20 global companies and open for public comment through November 21, 2025.
On October 16, the AIM Platform hosted a public webinar to introduce the QAR Standard and Guidance and explore how it can support broader corporate decarbonization strategies. The session provided an overview of the Standard’s key focus areas and highlighted the priority topics for which the AIM Platform is actively seeking stakeholder feedback during the consultation period. The event concluded with an audience Q&A session.
